Plain-text accounting for iPhone
Twentry keeps your books in Ledger journals, simple text files you own, and computes balances and reports with Ledger 3.4.1, built into the app. No account, no cloud, nothing locked in.

Plain text in, real books out
Every transaction is a few lines of text in a file that belongs to you. Twentry runs Ledger 3.4.1 itself on the phone, and Ledger and hledger on your computer read the same journal.

On-device AI
Type a sentence, dictate a voice note or share a screenshot of a payment. Twentry proposes the entries; you check and confirm them.
Optional. The model runs on your iPhone and nothing from your journal is sent anywhere. It's downloaded once (2.5–4.6 GB), when you choose one.

Every amount is checked against what you wrote.
Reports
Build your own dashboard from 13 kinds of charts and summaries. Filter by period and category, and see amounts as recorded or estimated in your home currency.

And nothing you didn't ask for.
Import CSV and Excel files, and PDFs and screenshots on iOS 26. You check every line before it's saved.
Share a payment's screenshot to Twentry, and it becomes an entry to check.
Sync with your own private GitHub repository; Ledger and hledger on your computer read the same journal.
Accounts in several currencies, with prices, and totals estimated in your home currency.
The app and its open screens hide behind Face ID or your passcode.
English, Azerbaijani and Russian, in the app and for the AI.
Your journal stays on your iPhone, and in your own GitHub repository only if you connect one.
Nothing to sign up for, and nothing to sign in to.
Twentry has no servers of its own. Nothing is uploaded to us.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind.
No. Start a new journal or look around in the sample one; Settings › About › How Twentry works explains the idea in a minute. If you already keep a Ledger journal, open it from Files: the app works on a copy.
The AI runs on the iPhone itself, so how well it works depends on your iPhone's memory: the larger, more accurate models need more. The app suggests the most accurate model that fits your iPhone and marks the ones that may not. On an iPhone with little memory no model may fit; everything else works on any iPhone with iOS 17.
Twentry 1.0 is free, with every feature included. There are no ads and no subscriptions.
Free on the App Store, for iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
